Foundation Unit Trip

The children in our Foundation Unit (Pre-school and Class 1) had a very special afternoon yesterday - visiting Bobbie's goats!  The children have enjoyed reading and basing their learning around the story of 'The Three Billy Goats Gruff' this week and this was a fantastic opportunity for the children to learn a bit more about these farm animals.  Bobbie answered our questions about how to look after goats and many of the children were surprised to find out that some farmers milk their goats!  However, the real highlight was, of course, the opportunity to cuddle some very cute goat kids.
