Year 5 London Residential
30.01.2024 Day 1
We’ve had a great journey up to London and our first stop was the fantastic Warner Brothers Studio - Harry Potter World. We enjoyed a distressed costumes workshop followed by a self guided walk through the studios.
We are now on our way to the Hostel to settle into our rooms and enjoy a well deserved dinner!
So many wonderful things to see and do - a great start to our visit . Everyone is having a fantastic time
31.01.2024 Day 2
We started early this morning with a scenic walk along the bank of the River Thames towards the Houses of Parliament.
When we arrived, we met our tour guide and looked around before meeting Selaine Saxby MP, our local MP.
The children asked some brilliant questions and remembered lots of information from our earlier learning during Parliament Week.
Well done, Year 5!
We're dressed for an evening of glitz and glamour as we head to the theatre to watch The Lion King. We can't wait!
01.02.2024 Day 3: Natural History Museum; London Zoo
We had another fun-filled day, starting off at the Natural History Museum, then exploring London Zoo in the afternoon.
We enjoyed our tea, and our night tour of London. Some of the sights are unbelievable!
It's a great end to a great day.
02.02.24 Final Day in London
We've had a lovely morning exploring the Science Museum. Now for some lunch before heading home. I could not be more proud of the behaviour and attitudes of the children this week. They have been so kind and encouraging to each other, making the most of every opportunity, and representing themselves and the school fantastically.
Well done, Year 5!
