Languages day

On the 26th September, Class 4 were invited to Blundells to celebrate 'World Languages Day'. We were collected after registration by Blundells staff and headed to the school for our action packed day. As soon as we arrived, we headed over the the languages block where we were lucky enough to learn a range of French, Spanish and German phrases. The children were partiularly excited to be taught by another generation of the Wiggans family! After lots of languages practise, we headed to the canteen for a wonderful European themed lunch. The children tucked into carbonara, paella and the incredible salad bar. After lunch, we headed across to the student halls to hear about how a day in the life of a 'Blundellian' looked. For the final part of the day, we headed out to the astro turf for some hockey practise. The children showed incredible enthusiasm and the weather held out for us. It was an incredible day and the children have since written letters to show how grateful they were to be invited to such an interesting event.
